For his birthday this year, I bought my husband about 20 bars of different brands of dark chocolate, 70% or higher. (Yes, he's been sharing it with me, and yes, I did get him something else, too, just for him.)
So far I have liked Scharffen-Berger's single-source Antilles the best, but there are still a few bars left.
There's also Taza, a slightly gritty stoneground chocolate produced just down the street in Somerville, MA, that gets locally produced points from me. I don't know how far flung their distribution is, but if it appears in your market, give it a try. It is different from any chocolate you've ever tried.
I did not like Green & Black's. All the organic chocolates (Endangered, Dagoba, G&B's) taste like dirt IMO. Try Lindt 85% USA. The recipe isn't the same in all countries. USA type has just cocoa powder, cocoa butter, sugar, and bourbon vanilla beans. I like that it has no soy lecithin. 4 squares (40g) only has 5g of sugar. It's 82% fat, 10% carbs, 8% protein by calories. No bitterness. Just an intense pure chocolate taste.
When my "female companion" can't come visiting me in Ireland she sends me some Green & Black's 70% cocoa. 'Cos those are the colours of the Jamaican flag, where she grew up.
Looks yummy enough to eat. The chocolate, that is. What a sweetie!
