An update

Hi All.

We've moved house. It has not been the simplest of moves. OK, it was awful. However it was also worth it as we live here now.

While the house is in pretty good order the acre and a half of ground needs some TLC before we can get the chickens strip grazing and maybe some stock in, so I sort of doubt there will be a huge amount of free time to blog. Maybe a little musing on metformin might be possible...

Anyway, we're alive and busy and now live some distance from the nearest main road (in Norfolk terms).

Peter

  3. Looks like you have a "Norfolk Rhapsody" of your own. Vaughan-Williams would have been proud of you.

Well he has taken complaining about people and places to a high art form. He has kind words for the US as well "insestual" "police state". Some people mistake their show as having something to do about cars - cars are just a vague back drop for the comedy. My hunch is his edginess and ethanol caught up with him forcing the move to the 'Grand Tour'

I've traveled quite a bit - for some strange reason I've not been to the UK - could be it was raining.

  9. I've thought of raising my own chickens just so they are not eating so much corn.

For what ever reason - commercial chickens are a huge source of LA - to the point that I don't eat them.

Be interesting to compare the fats of chickens eating a more normal diet.
